Björk – Isobel and Bachelorette

I’ve been feeling kind of introspective over the past week, by which I mean I’ve been listening to Björk. 🙂 Here’s a couple of her videos. (1) “Isobel”, from her 1995 album Post, and (2) the followup “Bachelorette”, from her 1997 album Homogenic. Both are directed by Michel Gondry, whose feature film The Science of Sleep I saw with Patricia a few months back, upon recommendation from Julie. I searched back through the archives and it doesn’t look like I’ve reviewed it, so I’ll do it here: a good film, very surreal, though at times it was so surreal I couldn’t tell where I was: in reality, or watching a dream of the protagonist. But, maybe that was the point. 7.5/10.
Anyway, do check out these videos. They’re creative, intriguing, and of course the music is great.
