Zebra

Well, I’m back! Arrived yesterday around noon. Which meant I was up at 5:30am to catch my flight. Which explains why I woke up at 4:30am today and realized I had fallen alseep with the lights on. It could have also been starch overload (I made chicken curry on basmati, mmm, can’t get enough of that basmati). Or maybe it was the beer I had with it.
Anyhow, Augusta was great. As I’ve told a few of you, if I were to caricature Augusta it would only contain psychics and nail salons. The number per capita seems to even exceed Sarasota, which is already disproportionately high when compared to BC/Ontario/Washington State (each of which I’ve lived in). Weird. Oh yeah, maybe a few crazy drivers too.
But otherwise it was a very nice trip; the customer I was working with was extremely pleasant to be around which sped the five days by. By Friday I had been made an official member of their lunch hilaritas for cracking wise. Ha.
Also, after making so much fun of said customer’s Bubba Keg I ended up returning with one. Funny how such things work. I think all the sweet-tea I had did something to my brain chemistry. Pictures forthcoming.
Finally, speaking of pictures — saw something this morning that made me truly excited. I was noticing what a beautiful day it was turning out to be — seeing the sunlight streaming through my blinds. And when I walked up to take a peek, I turned into a zebra. Anyhow, I grabbed my camera and took a few snaps. (The 3×5 aspect ratio is to help signify the experimental nature of the shots — kind of like the distinctions Jim and Davin make from time to time, only this time the visual variable is shape, not colour (or lack thereof)) Click that “MORE” link to have a look… also!
