Well, I just finished watching Gold Rush 2002, kindly brought back from Ontario for me by Ultimate teammate and fellow Canadian Darren, and whoo boy am I feeling stoked to watch Furious George play this weekend. For the uninitiated, Furious is the Canadian team which has won the UPA Club Nationals — the defining championship tournament for Ultimate Frisbee clubs in the United States — for the past two years in a row. Why they keep letting them enter, I don’t know 🙂
All day tomorrow and Sunday I’ll be volunteering out on the fields, helping clear trash from the fields as well as taking stats for a couple of different games. Golf cart madness. 🙂 Should be fun, check back here tomorrow night for an update.
