yeah, that’s what we wanted to know to when we ran over to it with one of the campground fire extinguishers. there was no-one nearby to claim ownership. we made the decision that there were no trees close enough by, and that it was probably set by one of the camp staff, so we didn’t need to use the fire extinguisher after all. pretty wacky thing to see before 9 on a sunday morning.

looks like a sewer plate on the left there and someone set off teh bomb — in which case, a well timed shot, but I see not.

No, i’m thinking it’s more likely to be some kind of cable spool. It’s certainly wood, anyways.
