No, I am alive. Might be hard to tell, based on how much I’m posting. I’ll give you that.
In the past couple weeks, life has been really busy. What’s new, right? Well, Davin will be arriving this coming Saturday, so I’m really excited about that. In preparation I’ve now got a cell phone (I’ll be sending out an email with the number — if you don’t get a message from me tomorrow, shoot me a note: krishen at alumni dot uvic dot ca and I’ll send it along). I’m also looking up Miami area hotels, as it’s likely we’ll be there between Thur-Sat (Mar 23-26th) for the Winter Music Conference. Think: giant rock concert. There will actually be some rock bands there, which is interesting, given it’s supposed to be an electronic music show. Then again, rock and electronic have been mingling for a while, a trend I think was given a serious kick in the rear by none other than electronic superstars The Crystal Method. Who I now notice is attending another (competing?) music show in Miami, the Miami Music Conference. And their dates overlap! What a mess. Oh well. Too many options are better than too few, right? 🙂
