New Building Top-off Ceremony

Last week at work, we held a top-off ceremony for the new METI building (yay!) and had a nice BBQ lunch. I guess traditionally, a top-off ceremony involves placing an evergreen tree or shrub on top of the building, once the final beams of the structure are in place. Our builders decided that, instead of an evergreen, they’d paint four of the pillars white for us to sign. Which I thought was neat… though you’ll have to take the building apart to see it 🙂

  1. I am so excited!

  2. Me too.. it’s been a dream for at least as long as I’ve been at METI to get our own building… almost hard to believe it’s happening.
