On Bubble Hockey, the Beach, Captain Curt’s and Juicemania

Definitely had a good weekend! Cam’s has the details from Friday night. Oh yeah, by the way, Cam’s blog is finally back up, after a month of him being, in his own words, “too lazy” to fix it. Go check it out before it breaks again!
Spent Saturday at the beach with Melissa, Cam, Kim and her friend Angie from Orlando, ate dinner at the Olive Garden, and hit a karaoke bar Kim recommended — Captain Curt’s. Didn’t end up singing, but I did swing dance with Kim (worked with Melissa to remember how to get into the octopus), and said hello to a few strangers while I was there, too:

Sunday was rocking good times, too — watched the entire “Juice Pigs” trilogy with Cam and Melissa, which I shall not attempt to explain here because I’d never do it justice. Unfortunately it appears to be in pretty bad shape, but do check out the official lolofilm website — it got a few tidbits about the Juice series, including storylines, character sketches, photos and bios.
Speaking of independent film, be sure to check out Daniel’s website (which you can also get to by clicking on the “Daniel” link over there on the right-hand sidebar). Good fun — all sorts of short films to see and download; a few of them have screened at the Victoria Film Festival (be sure to check out “The Propellor Guy” under the “Films” section).
