So, here’s a few pictures from my trip back to Victoria. I got to hang out with Ben (aka Spy Guy)! It’s been a long time since I’ve seen him; I think the first time we actually hung out was a rave back in 2001 called “Venus”. Since then we’ve kept in touch online through instant messaging and occasionally (but not lately) IRC. We, together with Mavis and Davin, went to Azuma Sushi for dinner, and later to Vista 18 for drinks. Azuma looked nice inside — clean, nice lighting — but the service was terrible. We sat at our table for 12 minutes before someone came by to offer us tea. We almost left. The food was great though, once it did come.
Vista 18 was cool; I’d never been there before. What it is, is a restaurant/bar on top of one of Victoria’s tallest buildings. As the name implies, it’s got a view 🙂
The service was good, too. Think I’ll be back next time I’m in town.
