After going for dinner, Amy, Cam, Melissa, MJ and I went to a play last night called “The Competition”. It’s a Russian comedy about citizens of a small town dealing with the transition from communism to capitalism, set in present day. Wow – I found it well done, very moving. Neither -ism “wins” in the show, but what I think it is effective in doing is challenging a capitalist society to think about what capitalism means. And that’s cool. I like productions that activate your mind, ask you to rationalize.
What’s the last film/production that made you think?

Does it ever snow or rain in Florida? Of course not! It’s a retorical question, but I thought I’d ask anyways, ‘cuz I feel like I should be in the sunny side of this planet right now. It’s damn cold here in Montreal!!!! ๐
I agree, you should be!
The weather right now is funny — it can’t decide if it wants to be warm or cool. Thursday was hot, Friday was rainy. Saturday was cooler but still sunny. In general, it seems there’s two seasons here: cool and dry (nov-mar, cooler, like a victoria summer) and hot and rainy (apr-oct).
Gone ice-skating yet?
When I was in Quebec City, ppl love out door ice skating even if it was -10degrees…Brrrr..it’s really cold now in Montreal. I can’t handle it..i am running home soon..r u home for xmas this year?
